Moved from the NGINX BU to F5 corporate with a promotion to lead the event team post NGINX acquisition. Streamlined event strategy for campaigns and product launches, consisting of their annual user conference, Agility, and other flagship events and trade shows to generate quality leads and fuel pipeline.
 

  • Managed a team of two senior event managers and one event manager

  • Oversaw an annual events budget exceeding $3M and a calendar with more than 10 large-scale trade shows and F5’s annual user conference

  • Successfully transitioned F5's inaugural user conference within two months, from a 3,000 in-person event to a virtual experience that attracted over 5,000 online attendees, in response to the challenges due to Covid

  • Established and led a large multi-department task force for Agility, re-imagining the agenda strategy to enhance flow and customer/partner experience. Additionally, initiated the first external call for papers program and managed executive and guest speakers for the conference.

  • Continually evaluated event programs, collaborating with the operations team to enhance tracking methods and ROI reporting

  • Revamped NGINX Conf, enhanced the agenda, created compelling stage designs, and improved overall flow of the event and attendee experience. In addition, created a sales incentive program and new sponsorship opportunities for technology partners

  • Managed an annual events budget exceeding $2.5M and a calendar of over 30 trade shows, conferences, product launches and corporate events

  • Rebranded Riverbed events continuously, initiating and overseeing custom booth builds configurable from a 10x10 to a 40x50

  • Produced keynote sessions for customer, partner, and developer conferences, as well as sales kickoffs, ensuring a compelling main stage experience
